Attic Productions is the community theater in Botetourt County. They offer opportunities in the performing arts for children and adults to learn by doing. Founded in 1995, the all-volunteer group produces five plays per year. This past year they hosted a concert featuring Jane Powell.
The local band Oriskany Strings hails from the little mountain village of Oriskany, in Botetourt County. The band was formed in 1997 to perform and promote old-time country and bluegrass music and have found national acclaim.
The annual Sounds of the Mountains Festival brings visitors in from all directions to hear live music and storytelling in the peaceful setting of Camp Bethel.
